Sider Tab does not collect, store, or transmit any personal user data.

2. Data Processing

All functionality operates locally in your browser:

• Tab URLs/titles are processed only for grouping/pinning functions
• User settings (pinned tabs, archive timers) are stored locally via Chrome Storage API
• Zero data leaves your device

3. Required Permissions

We request these permissions exclusively for declared features:

• tabs: Identify website domains for auto-grouping
• storage: Save your preferences locally
• sidePanel: Display vertical tab workspace
• activeTab: Copy URLs/generate QR codes for current page
• history: Access browsing history for tab management
• search: Search through your tab titles
• bookmarks: Manage bookmarks for quick access
• notifications: Notify you of important actions (e.g., auto-archiving)
• management: Allow you to manage the extension settings
• topSites: Access frequently visited sites for quick access
• downloads: Manage downloads related to tab content

4. Security

All operations follow Chrome's security standards. No servers are involved.

5. Policy Changes

Updates will be posted on this page. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
